Shepherd Park and the River Blackwater

This riverside park in Camberley is an amazing place in the urban heart of the great town. It is home to numerous birds and possibly even water spirits in the flowing dark waters........shrouded in trees and bordered in other places by reeds and giant angelica with its white flowers.

Wall Lizards

These are wonderful creatures. Introduced some time ago on to the Isle of Wight and into Surrey and West Sussex, they are common but very elusive. Their numbers are being carefully monitored by the experts but so far they don't seem to be causing any harm to native reptiles.
